Dr Muhammad Arslan is a board certified Plastic Surgeon, who is committed to provide international standards of care to all. He has a profound range of expertise and training both nationally and internationally.He is one of the best plastic Surgeons in Karachi, Pakistan working in the leading hospitals of the town.

During his training as a Plastic Surgery Resident he was awarded with Regan fellowship in Cleft Lip and Palate by the Operation Smile (USA) in 2015. Under which he attended Resident Leadership Conference where he was among the few presenters who had the opportunity to present his research work in Cleft Lip and Palate. Later, as a part of the fellowship program he visited Manila, Philippine where he worked as a Resident Cleft Surgeon to treat children with Cleft and Craniofacial Conditions. He has been accredited as a Volunteer Cleft Surgeon at Operation Smile USA.

Dr Arslan has had the privilege to be awarded International Scholarship by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons where he was trained at world-renowned hospitals such as Texas Children’s Hospital (World’s Biggest Pediatric Hospital), Children’s Hospital of Pittsburg and NYU Hospital New York as a Cleft and Craniofacial Fellow.

He then completed specialist training in craniofacial surgery from University of Alabama at Birmingham AL, USA. As a part of this fellowship program he had the opportunity to learn from Dr John Reinisch – the Pioneer of Medpor (non cartilaginous polyethylene ear implant) Ear Reconstructive Technique, at Beverly Hills, Los Angeles , USA.

Throughout his career, Dr Arslan has been keenly interested in Ear Reconstruction(microtia) which has led him to be the second person in the world to be awarded the ISAR Francoise Firmin Annual Travelling Award which is awarded to support the promotion of best clinical practice in the field of auricular reconstruction or surgery for microtia and atresia internationally. As a part of this award he travelled to Paris, France to learn Ear Reconstruction (Autologous rib cartilage technique) at Francoise Firmin’s Ear Reconstruction Surgery Unit Clinic BIZET, France.

Apart from performing Reconstructive surgeries, Dr Arslan also has great command on all kinds of cosmetic procedures .He attended the Akademikliniken in Stockholm, Sweden which is the Nordic region’s leading private clinic in cosmetic surgery as a visiting fellow.
